Kashmir Super League To Roll Into Action From April 28

ISLAMABAD, Apr 9 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2018 ) :The cricket-frenzy people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will have something to cheer about as the first edition of Kashmir Super League (KSL) will take place in AJK Capital, Muzaffarabad from April 28 to May 12.
"Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium is going to become the hub of cricket festivity. Their will be a high dose of glamour and glitz as several Pakistan international players will also be seen in action in the 15-day event," Chairman of the KSL, Masood Ahmed Khan said on Monday.
Addressing a press conference here at a local hotel along with co-chairman KSL Kashif Javed, he said that 12 Pakistani cricketers had agreed to play in the league, while talks were underway to make 12 more Pakistani players part of the event.
"The players, who had confirmed their participation in the event also include Mohammad Irfan, Aamer Yamin, Rahat Ali, Zulfiqar Babar, Gulraiz Sadaf and Agha Salman," he added.
He said that in total, six teams would feature in the event with each outfit having at least four players from Pakistan.
The teams to chip in the event are Muzaffarabad Qalandars, Kotli Lions, Mirpur Tigers, Rawalakot Warriors, Bagh Badshah and MK Kings. Masood said that AJK had its own cricket board and it had allowed to hold the event.
We will also invite Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Najam Sethi to attend the opening ceremony of the event. He said that the drafting for the players would be held on April 18. "The price range for tickets for a KSL match will be from Rs 100 to Rs 1000 and these will be available at the various branches of AJK bank as well as the KSL stalls setup outside the stadium", Masood said.
