Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2018 ) Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai has said that former army chief General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiyani played a key role in sending her abroad. According to details, Malala while talking on a private tv program on Friday said that Kiyani sent her abroad and she appreciates him for the act. Malala recounted that after she was shot at, an army doctor treated her. “If the doctor had not performed the surgery on time, I would probably not have been here,” she said.
Regarding the treatment in Britain, she said that the government and Army of Pakistan supported her very much while the two institutions also guarded her return to Pakistan and made it a safe journey. “It would have been very hard for me to return to Pakistan without their support,” she added. Malala expressed hope that the next time she comes to Pakistan, she would not require such extensive security measures.
