Karachi Blues Wins National T-20 Cup Final

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -16th Sept,2016) : Overwhelming performance of Khurrum Manzoor made Karachi Blues champion first time by defeating Karachi Whites with three runs in final match of Cool & Cool Jazz Presents National T-20 Cup at Multan cricket Stadium, on Friday.
Karachi Blues won the toss and decided to bat first. Khurrum Manzoor from Karachi Blues remained top scorer with 70 runs on 42 deliviries with five fours and three sixes while Fawad Alam scored 67 runs not-out and Muhammad Sami added 20 runs.
Karachi blues gave 183 runs target to Karachi Whites for loss of three wickets in 20 overs.
Tabish Khan, Mir Hamza and Azam Hussain took one wicket each. Zain Abass from Karachi Whites was the highest scorer with 47 runs and Tariq Haroon scored 38 runs while Asif Zakir made 32 runs.
Karachi Whites could made 179 runs for loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Muhammad Nawaz-3 from Karachi Whites took four wickets by giving 26 runs in four overs, while Muhammad Asghar and Saeed Ajmal took two wickets each. Muhammad Nawaz-3 was declared man of the match.
