Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai broke down into tears as she returned home after five long years
ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2018 ) Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai broke down into tears as she returned home after five long years. Giving her homecoming speech at Prime Minister House here on Thursday, Malala said, “I am extremely happy to come to Pakistan after five years.” Not being able to contain her emotions, Malala got into tears as she said, “I still can’t believe I am in Pakistan.” “I am 20-years-old at the moment but I have seen much in life.
I have been dreaming of coming back to Pakistan for five years,” she said. Malala stressed on child education and women empowerment in the country and said, “That’s the future I want to see for Pakistan.” Malala reached Islamabad on AK-614 fight of a foreign airline and will stay in the country for four days. Strict security measures were observed on the Islamabad airport on the occasion of Malala’s arrival. Malala went to London after she was injured in an attack by Taliban in 2012. This is her first visit to Pakistan since then. She has been given the protocol of state guest on this occasion.
