Anti-TB Walk Organized To Spread Awareness Among People In Chaman

Health Deportment and People's Primary Health Care Initiative (PPHI) organized a walk against Tuberculosis (TB) to spread awareness among citizens about TB diseases in Chaman area of Killa Abdullah district
QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2018 ) :Health Deportment and People's Primary Health Care Initiative (PPHI) organized a walk against Tuberculosis (TB) to spread awareness among citizens about TB diseases in Chaman area of Killa Abdullah district.
The walk was started on Wednesday from Press Club Chaman which was led by Assistant Deputy Commissioner Revenue Abdul Razaq Khan Khajak . Large number of people including health deportment personnel and civil society member attended the Anti-TB Walk which was accumulated at front of press club after passing different routs of the area.
Participants of anti-walks also chanted slogans against TB diseases, despite they holed banners which described about awareness of TB relative illness. ADC Revenue Abdul Razaq Khan said TB was danger disease and its treatment has available in respective hospitals while those people were suffering such illness and they should immediately go to hospital for treatment for saving their precious lives.
He said some of such patients have lost their lives due to lack of awareness and he urged doctors, citizens and media persons should play their role in order to create awareness against TB diseases in rural area and other part of district.
Abdul Razaq Khan said provincial and Federal government were taking maximum measures to provide health facilities in each district of province, despite, in this regard,TB treatment and medicines free of cast were provided by government in hospitals.
He said incumbent government was also trying to improve quality of treatment in government run hospital for provision of health amenities to masses. ADC also appreciated health deportments and other participants on arranging of Anti-Walks against TB awareness.
