At least nine people died and six others were injured when a passenger jeep fell into gorge in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Wednesday.
Muzaffarabad, (Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2018) : At least nine people died and six others were injured when a passenger jeep fell into gorge in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Wednesday. Recue sources said that an over loaded passenger jeep heading to Chakothi from village Khilana skidded off the road while negotiating a sharp turn in Jhelum valley in AJK. Nine people died in the accident while six others were injured. The rescue personnel and local people through joint efforts pulled the bodies and injured out from the ravine and shifted them to hospital for medico-legal formalities where condition of some wounded people was stated to be serious.
