Abdul Qayyum Urges Political Parties To Promote Positive Politics

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Tuesday urged political parties to promote positive politics instead of making political point scoring.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2018 ) :Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Tuesday urged political parties to promote positive politics instead of making political point scoring.
Some undemocratic elements had spread rumors in past that Senate election would not be held on time but polls were conducted as per law and constitution, he said talking to ptv.
He said holding Senate elections was big achievement of the PML-N government.
Upper House was best forum to highlight real issues of common man, he added. Abdul Qayyum said that a democratic government was ruling in the country and also resolving national issues. Political party would acquire success in the upcoming general elections on basis of performance, he stated.
