The event was to commemorate the female employees and their efforts towards the growth of the organization. The event was also graced by Mrs. Noreen Hassan and Mrs. Saadia Naveed, Member Board of Directors National Foods. Mrs. Hassan said “We appreciate the efforts made by female leaders who have paved the way for the coming generations.

It is important to understand that a female perspective, while different from men, is as important to the growth of the economy as the male perspective. It is a point of pride to be part of an organization which recognizes the abilities women bring to the table and celebrates it openly.” National Foods has always been at the forefront of including women in their rise to the top of the industry. They have strong policies which give way to gender inclusion and diversity.

In line with this, they have also built an onsite day care facility for their female workers. Keeping all of this in mind, the two speakers spoke on various topics, addressing the concerns women have while being a part of the corporate sector. Speaking about the event, Ms. Saira A. Khan, Director Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Admin and Security said, “We are extremely proud of the gender diversity present at National Foods. As an organization we are honored to celebrate this year’s International Women’s’ Day, #PressForProgress.

In a company which employs women at its Corporate Office and plants, we believe it is important to present equal opportunities to both men and women to bring forth their talents to contribute towards the success of the organization. We aim to hold other such events, which allow for our employees to increase communication across the board.” To show his support for the International Women’s Day, Mr. Abrar Hassan, CEO National Foods Limited was also present.
