Lahore, (Pakistan Point News - 09th Mar, 2018 ) Chief justice Saqib Nisar visited Red Crescent Medical College in which he showed complete disappointment by the college fees relative to the facilities available. One student is charged 25 lacs (2.5 million) which is extremely high. Chief Justice asked Director General FIA to investigate the college management and ordered the college to return extra fees within 1 week. Justice Saqib Nisar, Chief justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan, made a visit to Red Crescent Medical College and had a complete overview of the facilities available.
Chief justice said that he is completely disappointed by the bad condition of the college and over-charged fees. He further added that the condition of the college is even below average despite of the high academic fees. Chief justice asked DG FIA to have a thorough investigation from the college management about the fees and the facilities. He further ordered the college to return the over-charged fees from the students within the time period of 1 week.
Chief Justice said that it is not easy for the parents to arrange such a heavy fee of 25 lacs. Medical college neither has the adequate facilities nor have the proper faculty members. He said that he will not only remain limited to one province but he will cover the whole country and check all the facilities available to the people. Chief Justice also made the visit to Services Hospital Lahore and PIC for checking all the facilities provided
