LAHORE(Pakistan Point News - 09th Mar, 2018 ) The Blood Donor Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore in collaboration with Kashif Iqbal Thalassemia Care Centre (KITCC) observed Red Day, organised a thalassemia awareness seminar with the aim of making the country thalassemia free.
The representatives of KITCC Punjab addressed the students and gave them a comprehensive lecture on thalassemia and its consequences. A camp was also arranged for free thalassemic screening facility to the students. More than 300 students got gave blood samples for test.
