PML-N Win In Senate Polls Thwarts Opponents' Designs: MPAs

Members of the Punjab Assembly (MPAs) from the PML-N were talking to APP after exercising their right to vote at the assembly chambers, here on Saturday. PML-N MPA from PP-133 Maulana Ghayas-ud-Din said that the PML-N was emerging as a stronger party day by day.
He said that the Senate elections would further strengthen political position of the party. "Our candidates for Senate seats from Punjab have won their seats, and the announcement of results is just a formality," he said.
To a question, he said that newly-elected senators have complete confidence in the PML-N leadership.
MPA Rana Abdul Mannan from PP-134 said that everyone was committed to voting for his party. He said that the PML-N 's performance had been matchless in all sectors.
He said that success of the party in Senate elections was another feather in the PML-N cap. He said that the opposition had attached high hopes on Senate elections but they failed to achieve their objectives.
He said that the PML-N success in Senate elections would have very positive impact on general elections. He praised the PML-N MPAs and said that they did not bow before any pressure from the opposition and used their right to vote as per their conscience.
