ECP Officers Training; A Step Forward Towards Organizational Reforms: CEC

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -9th Sept,2016) : Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sardar Raza Khan Friday said the training of Eelection Commission of Pakistan (ECP)'s officers is a step forward towards organizational reforms.
This he said at the concluding ceremony of the four week-long training course of the first batch of ECP officers, held here at a local hotel, said a press release issued here. He distributed certificates among the officers on conclusion of the training course titled "Interpersonal Skills and Capacity Building Training Programme".
The closing ceremony was attended by the Secretary ECP, development partners and other senior officers of the ECP. Addressing the conclusion ceremony, CEC Sardar Raza Khan appreciated the first ever comprehensive training programme organised for the newly inducted officers of ECP.
Highlighting the importance of training of election commission officers, he said such officers were the face of ECP at the community, district and regional level as they were responsible for the implementation of strategies and programs.
CEC said the training was designed keeping in view more diverse needs of the ECP officers. The purpose of training would be best served if the expertise and knowledge gained here is applied in disposition of professional obligation and requirements. He urged the officers to perform outstandingly in the upcoming elections and encouraged them their performance will make them proud.
