Lahore, (Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2018) : Former Governor Punjab and member Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has termed corruption as worst form of public ''target killing''. Talking to media person along with PTI leader Mehmoodur Rasheed after condoling with party MPA Raheela Mehdi on demise of her mother here on Sunday, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that thieves should not be allowed to escape accountability by making absurd excuses.
He said that the country and parliament should be cleaned from corruption. The officers who are locking the state offices want to put obstacles in way of accountability, he said and added that the nation and PTI stand united and stand beside institutions. The PTI leader said that Pakistan is undergoing difficult time due to crisis of governance, energy, unemployment and terrorism. The major cause of these issues is corruption and bad governance of rulers. In order to address the problems, NAB and other state institutions have the collective responsibility to eradicate corruption and looting, he added. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said, "Officers must not put obstacles in way of accountability. In Pakistan, no one has the sacrosanct status to do crimes, especially corruption with the impunity."
