Lahore Qalandars losing streak as Multan Sultans thrash them in third encounter of PSL 2018. Fakhar Zaman’s brilliant inning of 49 runs went into vain as Junaid Khan and Imran Tahir bulldozed their batting line quite easily. Junaid Khan earned hat trick and became only bowler to achieve this feat twice in Pakistan Super League.
But it was Imran Tahir who helped his team winning the match by bulldozing middle order of Lahore Qalandars. Imran Tahir earned man of the match award his brilliant performance with ball. Earlier Multan Sultans were asked to bat first by Lahore Qalandar’s skipper Brendon Mccullum after he won the toss. Thanks to Kumar Sangakara’s 63 runs inning, Multan Sultans scored 179 runs in 20 over. In reply, Lahore Qalandar’s entire batting line collapsed on 136 runs. Lahore lost last 5 wickets merely for 1 run. This was the second consecutive victory for Multan Sultans.
