 Provincial Disaster Management Authority deputy director among three injured in Peshawar explosion

A blast on Ring Road in Peshawar left a government official and two others injured here on Friday morning

Peshawar, (Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2018) A blast on Ring Road in Peshawar left a government official and two others injured here on Friday morning. A motorcycle containing the explosive material was completely destroyed after the explosion occured near a state-owned vehicle carrying Deputy Director of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's (KP) Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Muhammad Shakeel. The vehicle's driver, Wardan Gul, and a passers-by were wounded in the incident, the police said.

Bomb disposal squad said that three kgs of explosive was used for explosion through remote control. The intensity of the explosion also damaged nearby buildings, police officials informed. Rescue services and law enforcement agencies, including the army, reached the site of incident and collected the proof from the scene. The Police later found the chasis number of the motor cycle used in the explosion.
