According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 5 Pakistanis say they will not go to cast their vote in Election 2018
Lahore(Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 5 Pakistanis say they will not go to cast their vote in election 2018. Considerably lower intention to vote noted since the previous Election. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “What are the chances that you will go to vote in this year’s Election?” In response to this question, 33% said the chances are very high, 38% said the chances are fair/moderate and 21% said there is no chance at all. 8% did not know or wish to respond. The same question was also asked before the 2013 election. In 2013, majority (59%) said the chances are very high, 28% said the chances are fair/moderate and 12% said there is no chance at all. 1% did not know or wish to respond.
