CM Orders Strict Action Against Unregistered Vehicles

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -8th Sept,2016) : Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday ordered a strict action against the owners of unregistered vehicles and those carrying unapproved designs of registration number-plates.
A crackdown will be launched on vehicle having unapproved designs of number-plates, and they would not be allowed to enter GOR Lahore area, said a handout issued here on Thursday. A warning of 7th of September deadline has been issued from the GOR-1 security division to change number-plates in this regard.
Senior member Special Monitoring Unit (MSU) Salman Sufi said that the IG Punjab and additional chief secretary have given instructions to start a crackdown on unregistered vehicle owners and suspected persons in the province, under the special instructions of the Punjab CM.
