MURREE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Feb, 2018 ) :A man died and at least three wounded on Tuesday in firing on a cab when a person with his accomplices opened fire in Jhika Gali Bazaar. Station House Officer (SHO) Murree Khudada Khan said Toqeer Hussain resident of Budgraan village opened fire on a taxi car at Jika Gali Bazaar and killed Iftikhar Ahemad of the same village and injured three other including Habib ur Rehman, Gul Faraz and Nadeem Abbasi.
He informed that the assailant with his two accomplices Rustam and Hanif attacked the deceased when both the parties came out of civil court where a land dispute is in court between them.
After firing, Toqeer and the other culprits managed to escape from the scene while Rescue 1122 shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for postmortem while the injured were also moved to the hospital for medical treatment.
The body was later handed over to the family members after the autopsy. He said the police have started conducting raids to arrest the culprits where further investigation is underway.
