Coordination committee announces to withdraw letter written to ECP to please Farooq Sattar

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) coordination committee (Rabita Committee) on Saturday announced to withdraw the letter sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and go to PIB Colony to bring party convener Farooq Sattar back to Bahadurabad, MQM-P headquarters.

KARACHI, (Pakistan Point News - 10th Feb, 2018) : The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) coordination committee (Rabita Committee) on Saturday announced to withdraw the letter sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and go to PIB Colony to bring party convener Farooq Sattar back to Bahadurabad, MQM-P headquarters. “The coordination committee has made many other decisions as well, but the matter of the letter was Primary.

Farooq Sattar has expressed apprehensions over the letter written by the coordination committee to the ECP,” said Kunwar Naveed Jamil while announcing withdrawal of the letter in a press conference along other coordination committee members. The committee had written to the ECP apprising it that the committee members had the authority to nominate Names for the upcoming Senate elections. The MQM-P leader said some senior activists brought the message of Farooq Sattar.

The MQM-P convener had set withdrawal of the letter as a pre-condition to return to the headquarters, he said. He said all the deputy conveners were going to PIB. He said they would take extreme measures to protect the party from breach and division. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said they would motivate their party chief to return to Bahadurabad “In sha Allah! We are going with the hope that God will make our efforts fruitful,” he said.
