LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 06th Feb, 2018) : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf spokesman Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday strongly condemned Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s statements as completely irresponsible and devoid of facts, and decried that politics was being done over the sexual assault of a minor girl. The PTI leader while addressing media said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police had bravely fought against terrorism and worked tirelessly to reduce crime rate in the province including kidnapping, murder and robberies.

The Punjab Law Minister earlier said that the case of minor girl Asma who was raped and murdered in Mardan, and the murder of Asma Rani is a blotch on the performance of the KP government. However, Fawad Chaudhry struck back decrying that politics was being held over the case of minor girl, and that the Rana Sanaullah cannot issue statements on the performance of the KP police. “What the KP police has to do or not, this is not Rana Sanaullah’s concern,” he said.

“The KP police will announce about the suspect of minor Asma in Mardan.” Criticising former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, the PTI leader said that a privileged accountability was being conducted for those accused of massive corruption of 300 billion rupees. He said that Nawaz Sharif comes to the accountability courts as he pleases, or else goes to London. He said that Imran Khan’s personal issues are being raised when there are no allegations found against him. “Billions are found in Sindh and Balochistan, when nothing is found against Imran Khan then his personal lives is criticised.” He rejected allegation in the Mashal Khan murder case and stated that 58 people including the prime suspect were arrested, and the verdict is expected soon. He added the 1500 policemen have sacrificed their lives in KP police, and have bravely fought against terrorism.
