Sindh Tennis Association will organize 1st Sindh Sports Board Wheelchair Tennis Coaching Camp and championship ( For Boys only) at Union Club Karachi from 10th Feb to 9th March 2018
Karachi(Pakistan Point News - 05th Feb, 2018 ) Sindh Tennis Association will organize 1st Sindh Sports board Wheelchair Tennis Coaching Camp and championship ( For Boys only) at Union Club Karachi from 10th Feb to 9th March 2018. Sindh Sports Board is the sponsor of this first ever coaching camp and shall be held under the auspices of Pakistan Tennis Federation . The camp and tournament is being held in collaboration with Para Sports Pakistan with their technical assistance, The coaching camp shall be held for two hours ,thrice a week on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays at morning hours.
It will be all free camp, STA will provide conveyance allowance to selected players in the camp @ Rs. 200 per day after the selection of players, . Initially 16 players shall be selected and after one week trial coaching eight players shall be short listed for advance coaching. The championship shall be held after the conclusion of coaching Camp. Muhammad Khalid Rehmani ( ITF qualified level One Coach shall be the head coach where as Ishrat Zehra & Aqeel Shabbir will be assistant coaches, Nadia Razzak ( secretary , Para Sports Pakistan ) shall be the camp commandant .
( All these four are also appointed as selection committee members .) Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan, president Pakistan tennis Federation has promised to find a sponsor to by 10 sports wheelchairs to carry on the coaching activity with regular interval. Kh. Saeed Hai is the president of organizing Committee, Mr. Gulzar firoz & Mr. Khalid Jamil Shamsi are vice presidents & Fizza Farooqi. Abdul Moiz, Sarwar Hussain and Eibad Sarwar are the members of organizing team.
