The Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah has revealed that Punjab government was mulling over the inclusion of a book containing information regarding sexual harassment in schools curriculum and for the purpose religious scholars being consulted.
LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 02nd Feb, 2018) : The Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah has revealed that Punjab government was mulling over the inclusion of a book containing information regarding sexual harassment in schools curriculum and for the purpose religious scholars being consulted. Addressing press conference in Lahore, Rana Sanaullah informed that chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif has directed the inclusion of such book in curriculum, therefore a committee has been formed that will consult religious scholars in this connection.
“The book will be prepared for kids and will be sent to CM Punjab after the approval of propose draft by the committee,” he said adding that religious scholars, ulemas, being consulted while the meeting of united ulema board will also be included in the proposed draft. Commenting on the Kasur’s Zainab incident, he said that it was regretful incident and caused the damage of Pakistan’s image in abroad. He also thanked judiciary, armed forces and media for cooperation than helped to arrest of the culprit.
He mentioned that the culprit had participated in funeral prayer of Zainb and also on frontline in protest against Zainab killing, however when he was called for DNA he suddenly gone missing.“After his flee from DNA test the security agencies followed him and at last he was grilled,” he said adding that he was arrested for not only after the matching DNA but some other tips had also helped in his arrest. Lashing out PTI Chairman Imran Khan, he said that a relative of PTI leader in KP was involved in Asma Rani killing but the Imran did not has any courage to take action against his party office bearer.
