Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that they will change the situation of Sindh and Karachi after taking majority votes in next elections.

KARACHI, (Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2018 ) : Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that they will change the situation of Sindh and Karachi after taking majority votes in next elections. Addressing a gathering of party workers here at a local hotel, the former premier said his government had freed the country from the shackles of terrorism and power blackouts. He asked his workers if they noticed any change in the present Karachi and that of 2013.

He maintained that they previously eliminated unrest in Karachi. “At present, there is much pollution and non-availability of clean water in Karachi. If got a chance, we will make Karachi a remarkable place to live. We always fulfill every promise we make,” he asserted. He criticized over the situation of KP and self-proclaimed new Pakistan. “We are constructing roads and motorways in KP. What is your performance in the past four and a half years?” asked Nawaz.

The PML-N leader pronounced that most of his time is spent while attending hearings. “More than half of my life has passed in politics. I have not done politics but served the country,” he declared. He told the participants that the service he has done to the country was visible in the entire country. His government laid out a network of motorways, and brought CPEC project in the country, he added. Like Lahore, Karachi too was dear to him, but unfortunately the former done better than the latter, he claimed.

He said poverty and unemployed had reached to an extreme level, whereas education system has deteriorated in the province. He urged the people of Sindh to examine the condition of the province and metropolis, before casting their votes in the next general elections. “You will be blamed if you still voted for them,” he said addressing the crowd.
