US Appreciated Pakistan's Counter-terrorism Operations

Washington, (Pakistan Point News – 7th September, 2016) : The United States has praised Pakistan's counter-terrorism operations to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan. Mark Toner, Deputy Spokesperson of US State Department, said in his daily press briefing that they have been encouraged by the steps of Pakistan against the terrorists groups on its Pak-Afghanistan border. He said that Washington will continue to work with Islamabad to increase these efforts and apply more pressure on the terrorist groups. Mark Toner said, our highest priority is to establish peace and stability in the region. There are no suggestions of any kind of sanctions against Pakistan.
