He said, “Though the rulers of central government have given Balochistan nothing but deprivations but people of the province love the soil and they could not be separated from Pakistan.

” Reminding the work done by PPP government in past, he said, “PPP government has halted the operation in the province, had launched the comprehensive Balochistan rights program, increased share in NFC award and awarded huge resourced for its development.” Bilawal further stated, “Through passage of 18th amendment in constitution our government had given sovereignty to the provinces and ousted the dictator president for the rule.

” The PPP chairman claiming credit of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) said that the CPEC accord was signed by Chinese President and Asif Ali Zaradri in president house, however PML-N government was trying to get false credit of CPEC. “PML-N is attempting to take undue credit on the CPEC project and hijacked the project,” he alleged. The PPP chairman blamed that the rulers sitting in Islamabad had always considered small provinces like Balochistan their colony, however PPP has become wall in their way as clarified that there was no small or big province all should be given their due rights.

Pointing out the recent change in Balochistan government Bilawal said that People has expressed their no-confidence on PML-N, he added PPP will struggle for the rights of Balochistan people by joining hands with the masses. Bilawal claimed that the ruling PML-N had hijacked the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. “This government did not treat Balochistan any better than a colony,” he said. Bilawal alleged that CPEC’s western project was ignored to [negatively] affect Balochistan.

“Your people were also abducted just as ours,” he said. “Justice was not served to you just like it was not served to us.” In an apparent reference to former president Pervez Musharraf, he accused the “dictator of fuelling a fire of hatred” in the province. He claimed that when his party’s formed a government in the center, it managed to achieve what had not been done in the province during the past 70 years.

“They ask us what our government accomplished,” he said. “We initiated the programme of Aghaz Haqooq-e-Balochistan, we gave autonomy to provinces through the 18th amendment, and in 2013, Balochistan was the only province to have a surplus budget.” He further said that the PPP-led government provided resources to Balochistan from the national exchequer and the Thar Coal project, introduced by his party, is providing the most benefit to locals. “We will fight democratically against exploitative forces,” Bilawal said.
