RAWALPINDI, (Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2018) : A cake-cutting ceremony for the poetess (late) Farzana Naz was held at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) here on Friday. Head of Public Affairs, Embassy of Japan, Ashida Katsunori accompanied by senior poets Mehboob Zafar, Farheen Ch, Naveed Malik and Director RAC Waqar Ahmed cut the cake. Addressing the occasion, Ashida Katsunori said that untimely death of Farzana Naz left deplorable mark on literary circles. He said that her absence would be felt forever and she will be remembered by her colleagues. Mehboob Zafar paid rich tribute to Farzana Naz. Farheen Ch said that Farzana Naz earned fame in very short period. Director RAC Waqar Ahmed said Farzana Naz gave respect to her seniors and juniors that was why she is still in the heart of everybody.
