Pakistan Awami Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan Wednesday said it was unfair to hold accountability of only person while sparing others for doing the same crime
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2018 ) :Pakistan Awami Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan Wednesday said it was unfair to hold accountability of only person while sparing others for doing the same crime.
It seemed that personal scores were being settled against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, he said while addressing a reception in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, held in his honour by the party chapter there and the ceremony in connection with death anniversaries of Bacha Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan.
The ANP chief said some politicians were blowing out of proportion propaganda against the former prime minister putting democracy at stake. The anti-democratic forces were bound to fail in their designs and the government should complete its mandate period, he added.
He said the next general election should be held on time and the democratic process should not be hampered come what may. The ANP leader said by introducing dance and music at political rallies Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan had made politics a non serious matter.
His party's government was indulged in massive corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkwa while the PTI chief was trumpeting successes against the menace at every forum, he added. Asfandyar said Imran Khan knew nothing about politics as every day he narrated a new story without any head and tail.
The people wondered as to what change Imran wanted to bring in the country, while the PTI government in KP had taken record loans to run its affairs, which had no precedent, he asked.
