Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and leader of Opposition in National Assembly (NA), Syed Khurshid Shah has alleged that the government for its paperwork has arrested innocent people in connection with the Zainab murder which is regrettable.
KASUR, (Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2018 ) : Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and leader of Opposition in National Assembly (NA), Syed Khurshid Shah has alleged that the government for its paperwork has arrested innocent people in connection with the Zainab murder which is regrettable. Talking to media along with father of Zainab here on Tuesday, Khurshid Shah said that though such regrettable incidents occur across the globe but the concerned governments tackle the situation accordingly and there are not as helpless as our government is.
He said that it was unfortunate that Zainab murder case was discussed in the British parliament. The Opposition Leader in NA said that the government is responsible to protect the life and property of people but unfortunately the authorities fired on the people who were protesting over the brutal murder and rape of the minor. He said, “Had the government taken previous such incidents seriously, this unfortunate case would not have surfaced.” Khurshid Shah said that the people who are involved in such cases as ruthless killers, they must be arrested immediately at earliest and awarded exemplary punishment.
