Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare (P&SH) Khawaja Imran Nazir has said that the Health department has established Flu Filtration Clinics in all THQ, DHQ and teaching Hospitals of Punjab.
LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 15th Jan, 2018) : Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare (P&SH) Khawaja Imran Nazir has said that the Health department has established Flu Filtration Clinics in all THQ, DHQ and teaching Hospitals of Punjab. Talking to the media at Istanbul Chowk, Mall Road Lahore on Monday, Khawaja Imran Nazir said that majority of H1N1 cases are reported from Multan and other southern districts. He said that H1N1 virus can be only control by adopting Preventive Measures and proper care to influenza patients.
The Provincial Minister said that only three cases reported from Lahore. The patients, their families and medical staff of that hospital are also vaccinated by Health department. Minister for Specialized Healthcare and Medical education Khawaja Salman Rafique said that Government is providing medicines and vaccination to all the effected Persons and their families. He said that people should adopt preventive measures to avoid H1N1 Virus.
Both Health Ministers distributed Mask and Awareness literature among Public. Activity was organized by Directorate General Health Services. Director General Health Services Dr. Akhter Rasheed, Director EPI Dr. Munir, CEO Health Lahore Dr. Yadullah and officials participated. At this occasion, DG Health Services Dr. Akhter Rasheed said that campaign has been launched in all districts to provide awareness to general public about seasonal flu.
