The Ex-Chairman Red Crescent Hyderabad Shakir Ahmed has hailed the formation of an inquiry committee to probe into the misappropriation of millions of rupees in Red Crescent Hospital
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jan, 2018 ) :The Ex-Chairman Red Crescent Hyderabad Shakir Ahmed has hailed the formation of an inquiry committee to probe into the misappropriation of millions of rupees in Red Crescent Hospital.
In a statement, Shakir Memon while welcoming the formation of inquiry committee, has demanded the removal of sitting Chairman and managing committee in order to ensure conduct of inquiry in transparent manner.
He said general hospital, cardiac hospital and other units of the Red Crescent Hyderabad, which are being run with the paid taxes of the people as well as donations from philanthropists are in grip of severe mismanagement and misappropriation which needs to be streamlined.
He alleged that such mismanagement in general and cardiac hospitals and other units of the organization, was because of the dictatorship of the sitting chairman and his blue eyed persons. The sitting chairman and the managing committee are holding the posts since last 20 years and their removal is essential in order to ensure the conduct of inquiry in transparent manner, he demanded and added that a competent person should be appointed as chairman on ad hoc basis with enhancing the scope of inquiry so that those who involved in looting the medicines, construction machinery and medical equipment could also be brought into the net of inquiry.
