Faisalabad, (Pakistan Point News – 3rd September, 2016) : Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the first private 40 MW power plant to generate electricity from coal in Faisalabad. Governor Punjab Rafiq Rajwana accompanied him. 40 MW of electricity would be generated through the power plant installed by the Sitara Chemical Industry. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister house, launching of such projects by the private sector are highly motivated which will help alleviate the electricity shortage in the country. Coal Power Plant is one of the major and unique projects in the industrial sector. This project has automated monitoring system through which environment will be protected also.
