HEC Distributes 4500 Laptops Among FATA Studens So Far

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has distributed over 4500 laptops among students of Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) so far under Prime Minster laptop scheme

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Nov, 2017 ) :The Higher education Commission (HEC) has distributed over 4500 laptops among students of Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) so far under Prime Minster laptop scheme.

An official of the HEC told APP here on Monday that for the upcoming scheme over 7000 applications have been received from FATA students while the maximum quota of laptops for FATA in next phase is 5000.

He said the government through HEC would also distribute 5000 more laptops in next phase among the public sector university students of these areas. To a question, he said that next laptop distribution ceremony would be held in February, March 2018.
