LGs Holiday Cancelled To Celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi In Befitting Matter

Lahore-11 : The Punjab government has cancelled public holiday of all local government institutions in the province on 12th of Rabiul Awwal to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (peace be upon him) in a befitting manner

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Nov, 2017 ) :Lahore-11 : The Punjab government has cancelled public holiday of all local government institutions in the province on 12th of Rabiul Awwal to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (peace be upon him) in a befitting manner.

Punjab Minister for Local Government Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt announced this here on Friday. He said that the directions have been issued for completion of patch-work of roads, removing hanging cables and clearing roads etc.

, for smooth flow of Milad processions on the day.

He said that special teams have been constituted for checking all arrangements in this regard. Any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated, he warned. The minister said that directions have already been issued for repairing street lights and making drinking water arrangements all along the routes of Milad processions.

All mayors, deputy mayors, chief officers and other officials concerned have also been issued directions in this regard.
