Two-day Workshop For LTC Officers Concludes

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th August, 2016) : A two-day Enforcement Capacity Building Workshop for the staffers of the Lahore Transport Company (LTC) concluded here on Tuesday. The workshop was consist of group discussions, presentations and included short test after enforcement training session.
It emphasized on institutional capacity building, human resource significance, during exigencies coordination with other departments, public awareness and guidance to drivers plying public transport vehicles, understanding of road users behaviour, investigation of traffic violations, parking management and enforcement, information pertaining to indispensable documents for public service vehicles on road and most importantly the behaviour and courteous conduct of enforcement staff with commuters and private transport operators.
Later, Chief Executive Officer LTC Khawaja Haider Latif distributed the certificates among transport enforcement inspectors.
Earlier, addressing the concluding session, the CEO said that such refresher courses and training on modern lines is the need of the time, it would play a positive role in the field staff while performing their duties on roads and towards team building.
Manager Enforcement Waheed ur Rehman, Transport Psychologist Sumaira Nazir, Kaiser J. khatana Chairman Institute of Road Safety and Traffic Environment, DG Administration Institute of Engineering Pakistan Muhammad Ashraf enlightened the transport enforcement inspectors about their duties and role in the society.
