Govt Focusing To Ensure Provision Of Potable Water

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -30th Augst,2016) Provincial Secretary Public Health Engineering, Sheikh Nawaz Ahmed said Tuesday that Balochistan government is utilizing all resources to ensure provision of potable water in the province.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that the government has launched about 3236 water supply schemes, 1600 out of which have already been completed while nearly remaining 1600 would soon be completed. He said completion of remaining water supply schemes would help to overcome water scarcity in several areas of the province. To a question, he said that execution on three water supply mega projects Mangi, Halak Dam and Pat Feeder canal with a rupees hundreds of billions would be completed within stipulated period.
