At least two police personnel were killed when unknown assailants onboard a car, opened fire at them in Shergarh area here on Monday
MARDAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Nov, 2017 ) :At least two police personnel were killed when unknown assailants onboard a car, opened fire at them in Shergarh area here on Monday. Police said, the cops on duty at Shagonaka check post, signaled a suspicious car to stop but the onboard persons opened fire at the police, killing two cops.
The martyred cops were identified as Farhad son of Shebaz and Muhammad Nawar son of Sher Muhammad. Police said one of the cops died at the scene while the other breathed his last at the hospital of his wounds. After the firing incident, the DPO Mardan alongwith other police officers reached the spot and directed for a search operation to nab the killers.
