IOK Authorities Book 163 People Under PSA In 50 Days

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -30th Augst,2016) : The PDP-BJP led puppet regime has booked 163 people under black law, Public Safety Act (PSA), on the charge of organising protest demonstrations and rallies in the Valley during the ongoing uprising in the territory. According to KMS, the data compiled by the authorities confirmed that 163 people including Hurriyet leaders and youth have been booked under the PSA.
The official document revealed that the PSA has been invoked against the 163 people in last 50 days.It further disclosed that over 1,000 persons were currently under the police scanner and the authorities intended to book more people under the black law to curb the protests. The detention orders under PSA are generally passed by the District Magistrates on consideration of the dossier prepared by the concerned SSP or SP.The person booked under the PSA can be detained for upto two years without trial.
