Over 1600 Babies Born At Health Centres Last Month

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th August, 2016) : As many as 1613 babies were born during the last month at health centres with round the clock facilities. This was disclosed by EDO Dr Shahid Magasi here Monday. He added that health department was ensuring delivery process under the supervsion of trained staff at these centres.
The EDO said a total of 21 centres had been upgraded for this purpose. Dr Magasi informed that extending health services free-of-charge to masses was the Punjab government's priority. Meanwhile, EDO health paid surprise visits to differnt health centres at Alipur, Khangarh, Mochiwala and others centres.
