KP Ehtesab Commission Arrests Senior Drug Analyst

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th August, 2016) : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission arrested Senior Drug Analyst, Khalid Khan for declaring Interferon injections worth million of rupees purchased by the government for treatment of hepatitis patients as substandard.
The injections were declared substandard during the retesting process by the Senior Drug Analyst thereby inflicting massive loss to public exchequer, said a press release of Ehtesab Commission issued here Monday. The action has been taken by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission after finding strong facts regarding the scam during an investigation.
The Senior Drug Analyst was apprehended during a raid conducted by Investigation Team of the Commission on Provincial Drug Laboratory.
