Mepco To Install Power Transformer At Lodhran T-II Grid Station

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th August, 2016) : Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) has decided to install power transformer of 40 MVA at 132 KV Lodhran T-II Grid Station to resolve complaints of low voltage. According to a press release issued here on Monday, in line with special directions of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mepco Engineer Fazal Ullah Durani, power transformer of 40 MVA was being installed at 132 KV Lodhran T-II grid station to replace transformer of 20/26 MVA.
The step was being taken to resolve the issues of low voltage. The power transformers would be installed with the cost of Rs 50 million. The press release added that supply of electricity would be suspended for 17 hours from 6am to 11:30pm on August, 31 (Wednesday) for the installation of power transformer.
