PU Announces BA/BSc Annual 2016 Results

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th August, 2016) : Punjab University has declared the results of BA/BSc Annual Examination 2016 in which top positions were clinched by the girls in BSc while only a boy could secure one position in BA examination.
The ceremony regarding prize distribution among position holders and awareness campaign regarding PEEF will be held on Tuesday at 9:30am at Al-Raazi Hall. Vice Chairman Punjab Educational Endowment Fund Dr Muhammad Amjad Saqib will be the chief guest while Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will be the guest of honor on the occasion.
According to results documents, all the top three positions were clinched by the girls in Bachelor of Science's examination.
BSc's student Ms Huma, roll number 15881 got overall first position by obtaining 702 marks out of 800 marks.
BSc's student Zara Nasir, roll number 10473 stood second by securing 699 marks and BSc's student Maryam Saba roll number 23441 stood third by securing 697 marks. In BA, the first position was clinched by a boy while 2nd and 3rd position was obtained by the girls.
Mansoor Ali, roll number 83713 got first position in B.A by securing 665 marks. While Faryal Shahbaz, roll number 48658, stood second by securing 660 marks and Ms Attiqa, roll number 80127, stood third and obtained 655 marks. A total of 118,029 candidates appeared in the examination of whom 44450 candidates passed the exams and the pass percentage is 37.66.
