Sports Associations Urged To Hold Competitions

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th August, 2016) : Additional Commissioner Karachi Rubina Asif has urged sports associations to play their role for the promotion of various games by holding sports competitions. She was speaking at the prize distribution ceremony at the Commissioner Office after the conclusion of a bicycle race held on Saturday as part of Independence Day celebrations.

The Additional Commissioner said the Commissioner Office Karachi will continue to provide support for the promotion of sports in the city. Rubina Asif said that on the directive of Commissioner Karachi Ejaz Ahmed Khan local administration is taking various steps for the promotion of sports. She also urged students to fully participate in both curricular and extra-curricular activities.
