Bail Of Murder Accused Cancelled

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th August, 2016) : Additional Session Judge Pervez ul Qadir Memon on Saturday cancelled the interim bail of main accused allegedly involved in murder of Barrister Fahad Malik, the nephew of former Chairman Senate Muhammadmian Soomro.

According to details, Noman Yaqub Khokhar alias Nomi Khokhar, Ch.Arshad and their five accomplices allegedly gunned down Barrister Fahad Malik after a dispute with him few days back in Islamabad.

However, one of them, Noman Khokhar, got interim bail till August 27.

On Saturday, he appeared before the court and his lawyer sought extension in bail, saying that terrorism section has been added in the case about which he did not know.

He also challenged the authority of court and sought extension in bail till Monday. The court set aside the lawyer's objection and cancelled bail following which police took the accused into custody from outside the court room for investigation. Nomi Khokhar will be produced before court tomorrow to get his physical remand.
