City Receives Rain On Saturday

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th August, 2016) : The city received the second spell of rain in this season on Saturday. An official of the Met Office said there are chances of more rain in the metropolis at night or early morning. He said that the rain recorded by the Met Office was: Karachi Airport 54 mm; University Road 33.5 mm; Landhi 26 mm; Met Observatory 22.6; North Karachi 12.
8 mm; PAF Faisal 10 mm; Gulshan-i-Hadeed 5 mm; North Nazimabad 4.5 mm; Korangi 2 mm. The forecast for Karachi during the next 24 hours said the weather would remain partly cloudy/cloudy. The maximum temperature was expected to remain between 35 to 37 degrees centigrade. The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 37 whereas the minimum was 28.5 degrees Centigrade. The humidity was 82 percent in the morning whereas it was 85 percent in the evening.
