Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -27th Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Saturday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 38, Onion Rs 28, Tomato 40, Ginger Rs 195, Garlic (China) Rs 260, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 132, Khatti Rs 132, Lady Finger Rs 52, Green Zucchini Rs 45, Pumpkin Rs 35, Brinjal Rs 30, Peas Rs 172, Farsh Bean Rs 64, Tanda Desi Rs 52, Cucumber Rs 42, Capsicum Rs 95/65, Green Chilli Rs 30, Cauliflower Rs 78/55, Cabbage Rs 43, Bitter gourd Rs 52, Spinach Rs 30/20, Radish Rs 32, Turnip Rs 62, Yam Rs 56, Maroo Rs 48, Carrot Rs 100, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 105.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Gaja Rs 100/60, Apple China Rs 195/150, Apple New Zealand Rs 260/225, Banana Pak Rs 78/45, Pear China Rs 155/125, Grapes 152/125, Gava Rs 78/55, Pear Desi Rs 82/55, Peach Rs 90/70, Garma Rs 68/48, Mango Najri Rs 72/58, Mango Nawabpuri Rs 100/75, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 128/90, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 64/50 and Mango Ratool Rs 115/85. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
