AC Raids, Unhygienic Meat, Cooking Oil Seized

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -27th Augst,2016) : Assistant Commissioner (AC) Abbottabad, Dr. Jahanzeb along with district food controller Saturday raided a restaurant and seized unhygienic meat and cooking oil. According to details on the public grievances AC raided on Kala Khan Tikka Restaurant and sized substandard meat, spices and cooking oil.

AC summoned the owner of the restaurant to appear in the court of AC for explanation. Two weeks earlier AC also paid surprise check at the Mir Bakers Abbottabad and fined them Rs 45,000 for unhygienic conditions.

From last one year district administration has started a drive against the bakeries, restaurants, hotels and food points to check their hygienic conditions, during this period dozens of bakeries and restaurants have been sealed and fined due to unhygienic environment. People have appreciated the raids on famous restaurant and bakery and demanded the district government to permanently resolve the issue of substandard food items and unhealthy environment of the hotels.
