MUMBAI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 30th, 2025) Shefali Jariwala, widely known as the ‘Kaanta Laga girl’, passed away suddenly last week at the age of 42, leaving fans and the Indian entertainment industry in shock.
According to Indian media, Shefali was rushed to a hospital from her residence in Mumbai on June 27, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Hospital staff confirmed that she had already passed away before being brought in. While initial reports suggested cardiac arrest as the cause of death, authorities have yet to confirm the exact reason.
In an interview with the Indian media, the doctor who had been treating Shefali for years stated that she had no serious medical conditions in recent years. On the contrary, she had been undergoing anti-aging treatments regularly for the past five to six years.
The doctor further revealed that Shefali had no known history of heart disease and had never been prescribed any cardiac medication. Her treatments were strictly aimed at maintaining a youthful appearance and overall fitness.
The police are now investigating the possibility that her death might have been linked to an anti-aging injection.
According to the initial reports, Shefali routinely took anti-aging injections on an empty stomach.
On the day of her death, she reportedly took her usual injection in the afternoon after which she began experiencing severe chills and lost consciousness.
