All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association says price of 24-karat gold settles at Rs349,400 per tola in Pakistan
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 28th, 2025) The gold prices in Pakistan decreased by Rs1,600 per tola in local markets on Friday.
The decline in gold prices extended the downward trend seen in recent days.
According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,600 per tola and settled at Rs349,400 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,371 and settled at Rs299,554.
The fresh drop follows a significant decline of Rs5,000 per tola recorded a day earlier.
In the international market, the price of gold also fell by $16, with the new rate standing at $3,274 per ounce.
Traders say the continuous decline in gold prices is linked to fluctuations in global markets and the strengthening of the Pakistani rupee in the local market.
