Israeli PM says his son’s wedding had to be cancelled again due to fear of missile attacks
DUBAI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 19th, 2025) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday expressed sorrow over the cancellation of his son’s wedding for the second time, attributing it to the ongoing wars with Gaza and Iran.
The Israeli media reported that Netanyahu visited a hospital on Thursday that was impacted by recent Iranian missile attacks. During his visit, he spoke to reporters and highlighted the heavy toll the conflict is taking on the Israeli people.
“Israelis are paying a heavy price in this war,” Netanyahu said. “There is also a personal cost—people are getting injured and losing loved ones.”
He added that his own family has not remained unaffected. “Everyone is paying a personal price in this war. My son’s wedding had to be cancelled again due to fear of missile attacks.”
Netanyahu’s son’s wedding was scheduled for June 16 but has now been postponed indefinitely due to the deteriorating security situation.
