Areas With 90pc Recovery Exempted From Load-shedding: PESCO Chief

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th August, 2016) : Chief Executive PESCO, Anwaarul Haq Yosuafzai has said that all those areas of Khyber Pakthunkhwa from where 90 percent recovery is being received on head of charges of billings have been exempted from load-shedding. Anwaarul Haq Yousafzai along with Project Director Murad Khan, Tehsil Nazim Ashfaq Qureshi, technical staff of XEN Kohat, LG representatives and elders visited the site of the new grid station at Shakara Dara in Kohat district and selected a suitable place for it after consultation with local elders.
A separate grid station for Sakara Dara sub division was approved to address problem of low voltage in the area.
The grid station would be established in a year. The PECSO Chief said the new grid station would help address low voltage problems besides reducing load shedding in the area. He said photo billing system had been started in KP to address problem of overbilling, adding directives were issued for reducing load shedding in Sakara Dara.
